Maeil Business Newspaper Kyowon Building (M-CITY) Outdoor Media Wall, WHALE #2 MAY. 2026 d'strict unveiled its signature work 'WHALE #2' in May 2026 on the outdoor media wall of the Maeil Business Newspaper Kyowon Building (M-CITY), located at the Euljiro 1(il)-ga intersection in the heart of Seoul.
Running for three months, from May 18 to August 17, 2026, the exhibition presents a one-minute loop of 'WHALE #2' daily on a massive LED screen measuring (W) 78,250 × (H) 2,200 mm.
'WHALE #2' transforms the entire LED screen into a three-dimensional space, surrealistically portraying a whale dynamically swimming through the movement of waves. Notably, this piece is the 3D version of the work that received GOLD, the top honor at the 2022 iF Design Award, and this exhibition marks its first-ever presentation on a Korean DOOH medium.
Presented at this iconic Seoul landmark where Myeongdong meets Euljiro, the project offers everyday visual delight and immersive artistic experiences to the diverse audiences of the city—office workers, tourists, and shoppers alike.
