Digital design and art company d’strict held a special conference to commemorate the successful exhibition of ARTE MUSEUM x MUSEE D’ORSAY, unveiled in July this year as part of a long-term artistic collaboration initiated with Musée d’Orsay in 2022. The exhibition is currently showcased exclusively at ARTE MUSEUM locations in Busan, Yeosu, and Gangneung.
On October 21, representatives from Musée d’Orsay visited ARTE MUSEUM BUSAN for the first time to experience ARTE MUSEUM x MUSEE D’ORSAY. The following day, October 22, at 2 PM, a special conference was held at a hotel in COEX, Seoul, to celebrate the successful exhibition.
The conference brought together representatives from Musée d’Orsay and executives from d’strict, who shared their firsthand impressions of the exhibition and discussed the accomplishments of their collaboration. Attendees lauded the partnership for transcending the boundaries between traditional and digital art and for exploring new creative possibilities.
Sean Lee, CEO of d’strict, remarked, “Our partnership with Musée d’Orsay has enabled us to present works that seamlessly blend historically renowned artworks with digital art. We look forward to continuing this collaboration and showcasing our joint creations at more ARTE MUSEUM locations worldwide.”
Édouard Papet, Senior Curator for Sculpture at Musée d’Orsay, commented, “Collaborating with d’strict has allowed us to embark on new artistic ventures. We believe this exhibition will inspire many visitors.”
The conference served as a significant event to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between both organizations and to lay the groundwork for pursuing more diverse projects in the future.
